Remember to cover the basics, that is, what you expected to happen and
what in fact did happen.

Be sure to consult the FAQ section in the manual before submitting
a bug report. In addition check if the bug is reproducable with an
up-to-date version of AUCTeX. So please upgrade to the version
available from http://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/ if your
installation is older than the one available from the web site.

If the bug is triggered by a specific (La)TeX file, you should try
to produce a minimal sample file showing the problem and include it
in your report.

Your bug report will be posted to the AUCTeX bug reporting list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

There appears to be a bug with the compilation when using a master file
with one or more files included via \include (guess the same bug applies
to \input as well). For instance, if I have a master.tex file which
includes 1.tex, 2.tex and 3.tex. The master file usuaully just contains
the preamble, and the include-macros. Compiling master.tex outputs
master.dvi or master.pdf, and then if I go make changes in either of the
three included three files, eq. 1.tex, 2.tex or 3.tex, and then
switching back to master.tex to compile the whole document, then the
default operation in TeX-command-master is set to "View" and not
"LaTeX". I hope this makes sense.
