I have not read the whole thread, but in the case of a non literal
(i.e., not an Sh-free expression), it shoudn't matter. In the case of
an M4 literal, be sure to *double* quote, as you don't want sinclude
to be evaluated.
AC_INIT([[sinclude]], ...
AC_INIT([[m4_define]], ...
