I have a solaris 7
box running pam_ldap and nss_ldap with bash 2.03.0(1)-release
(sparc-sun-solaris2.7). When an LDAP user logs in, the bash shell runs,
but subsequent executions cause a new shell to spawn, and the exisiting one
stops.
dev01:~$
ls
[1]+
Stopped
ls
dev01:~$
when I exit the new
shell, I get the output from the stopped shell (as its dumping me back into the
shell which ran the ls process)...
I only found 1 reference to a
similar problem on solaris 2.6, and compiling bash w/o job controls, but that
was it.. Any insights would be greatly appreciatged.
