I'm trying to compile bash 2.0 over this machine:
SunOS 5.6 Generic_105181-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4
I run ./configure and all seems ok.
After that I run "make" and after an amount of "cc"
I got this error:
$ make
make[1]: Entering directory `/utenti/oracle/bash-2.0/builtins'
rm -f libbuiltins.a
cr libbuiltins.a builtins.o alias.o bind.o break.o builtin.o cd.o colon.o

make[1]: *** [libbuiltins.a] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/utenti/oracle/bash-2.0/builtins'
make: *** [builtins/libbuiltins.a] Error 1
I think that the lack of "cr" (what is it ??) should be
discovered by the configure script.
Thanks
