Thanks for your response (from Sleepycat!) Are you using cfengine
yourselves? I am interested in how you came to be on the list.
I suggested a while ago for cfengine to be mentioned on the sleepycat
homepage as an open source user of BerkeleyDB, but the suggestion
does not seem to be taken up.

Personally, I am not keen on including the tarball inside
cfengine. Apart from the minor API change in version 3, it
has never been any problem to cpmpile the program. THe main
problem has only been to find libraries included in Red Hat
linux. I see this as a Red Hat issue, not a db one.
