Minor nuisance: In editfiles, if you do a straight "append" after an
EmptyEntireFilePlease, it is flagged as being 'nonconvergent', which is
obviously bogus. This forces you to use (presumably more expensive)
AppendIfNoSuchLine operations instead.
Is this behavior required due to some internal constraint, or is it a bug?
