cfengine fails to send email

Hello,

I use cfengine on a network of about 40 computers running Solaris 8 and
Solaris 9. Only eleven of these hosts (independend of OS release)
succeed to send logmails.

One aspect of this problem is, that on the hosts failing to send mail,
cfengine only writes 

        From: cfengine@<hostname>.

in the mail headers, without the full domain and the mail server is to
strict configured to accept these mails.

I tried to find the problem in the sources, but was not able to find it.
