[Bug awt/23571] New: assertion failure in GtkFileDialogPeer

I was sometimes seeing this crash when showing a FileDialog:

Gtk-ERROR **: file /home/fitzsim/sources/gtk+/gtk/gtkfilechooserdefault.c: line
5136 (pending_select_paths_process): assertion failed: (impl->browse_files_model
!= NULL)

It turns out this was a GTK bug:

I've committed a fix for this to GTK HEAD and the 2.8 branch, but I'm filing
this here for future reference.  There's no easy workaround so we just have to
wait for the next 2.8 release to circulate.
