While Solaris has been tested from time to time, I do not happen to have access to an IRIX and have no information on it as a target platform. Perhaps there are others who have ported it there...

Common C++ has been tested to date with GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, and

What is the deal on Common C++ and SGI/IRIX ? I had a go at compiling this
at IRIX 6.5.11, but it failed early in the process complaining about
u_short and inet_aton, which is quite common stuff. Does this mean that
the library is untested at this platform? I'm considering common c++ for a
project now, and compability across win32/linux/irix and possibly sun is a
consern.

Thanks for the efforts in building this framework, at first sight it looks
really slick :)
