The problem here is that he has his "Library flags" set to compiler
options but not his compile flags, and he may not have the right defines
for his system there.  If you use "ccgnu-config --flags" you will get a
list of the correct compiler settings, and if you use
"ccgnu-config --stdlibs" you will get a listing of the library options
to use.
