The current cvs for Common C++ "2" can be pulled from subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/commoncpp by checking out module "commoncpp2", and yes, it still needs extensive testing. I know there are specific problems under FreeBSD and Solaris at the moment. As soon as those are resolved, and a few other less critical problems are fixed, it should be ready for formal release.

Yes, the 0.99 release of GNU Common C++ 2 (commoncpp2, so that it can be
installed concurrently with the current releases) is likely to appear
by the end of next week.

The web page states that there will be a version 2.0 of the CommonC++.
Any release date or beta already?

Thanks,
