Hello, I attempted compile commoncpp2 and this is how it went:

Please run:

if appropriate, please contact the maintainer of this

I run libtoolize --copy -- force as instructed and get:

libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, `autoconf'.

I run ./configure again and it repeats the messages.  I am a newbie to Linux so did some research and there were some suggestions to run: emerge sync, but I don't know what emerge command does and am getting a bit deep.  Any proven fix for this bug?
