Can cat -h be added as an alias of --help please? Why? Seems utterly useless for --help, rather save it for something that is potentionally useful.
The GNU convention is to support the short getopt, and getoptlong style in many utils
for example, objcopy -h --help Display this output and strings: -h --help Display this informationSo why should cat be any different? Are doubt there are extra features for cat which require any extra arguments as it comes from the POSIX specs..
