It is odd that you mailed to bug-fileutils, even though you are using
coreutils 5.94. That mailing list is obsolete; it is now the bug-coreutils
mailing list.

There is a known bug with df reporting garbage negative sizes when
statfs reported weird information; this was detected prior to 5.94,
but the fix is only in CVS head and not backported to 5.94.

As to why statfs reports weird information, I'm not sure.
