I am running suse 10.1
and the shell cmd "sort" does not work
as advertised.
if I have a "file" containg:
#b
%a
<eof>
and run "sort file"
i should get
#b
%a
(since '#' =octal 42 and '%' = octal 45)
but instead I get "dictionary order"
%a
#b

P.S. On HP-UX it does work "on ascii code/machine
code"
I have not tried SUN yet.
