Additionally, I use the --backup option to prevent overwriting existing
files & folders in the trash (in order to be similar to the "Recycle Bin"
behavior).
# my del
alias del='mv --verbose --backup=simple --suffix=$(date +".(%F_%T)")
--target-directory=$HOME/.Trash/'
