1,000,000 is not the same as 10000000. What command exactly did you use
that gave you the output you are asking about?
> #seq --version
> seq (coreutils) 5.2.1
This is quite old and has known bugs. In all likelihood, the bug you are
complaining about has been fixed in the meantime. Consider upgrading -
the latest version is 7.4, and 7.5 is due out soon.
