Thanks for the report. However, that link pointed me to:
http://checkinstall.izto.org/cklist/msg00319.html
which states that the incompatibility is due to installwatch not knowing
how to track the use of POSIX 2008 *at functions like fchmodat. Sorry, I
feel no sympathy for you; the *at functions are more secure than their
older counterparts, and we won't be changing back. Rather, you should be
helping to patch installwatch to use/track modern kernel interfaces.
