Script for producing change summary from rdiff

I just finished writing a script for using the output of "cvs rdiff"
to produce a summary of everything that changed between two versions
of a module.  I've attached it, and any comments you might have are
welcome.

I was surprised that I couldn't find anything to do this on the Web.
Has this really never been done before, or did I just reinvent the
wheel (in which case, what should I look for to see how other people
have done this)?

Is this the kind of thing that would be appropriate to make available
on cvshome.org?  If so, in which category would it go?  I can't figure
out whether "support" or "tools" is the right one.
