Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.5 (client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.5 (client/server)

Client and server happen to be on the same system.

I am executing a command thre same way I would from another server.

No error indication is present, at least in what is written to stderr and 
stdout.
