For the FEATURE branch, if you add a CVSROOT/config line like this:

KeywordExpand=i

it will tell CVS to avoid expanding any keywords not in the list that
follows the 'i' character on the KeywordExpand CVSROOT/config line.
No need to go into -kkv versus -ko modes at all.

Well, I suspect that would just cause another fork of the CVS sources...
sort of the same problem I get when I tell folks I would really like to
see :pserver: support removed. :-)
