Reassigned this back to the Patch tracker. The Task tracker is configured to
only accept modifications from project members and it occurs to me that it may
be useful to have one of the trackers restricted this way. Sandro Bosio

Yes, true, disk is cheap. But it happens that I'm having my personal cvs on
my 256K usb pen, and compressing would give around 7 times the same space
(that soon I'm going to need). And also, when using compression with
parameter -z (assuming the file has the same compression level requested)
this saves cpu time on the server.
Anyway, I was thinking of your suggestion of using a compressed file system,
and I will try to figure out how to use it properly on a usb pen.
