Hi ,
I am working on CVS 1.11.22.
There is a time difference between the timestamp in CVS/Entries & system
time.
How to fix this problem as most documents say that both timestamps should be
in same timezone.
I can not change the system time as many developers are using the system.
Is there any bug fix/patch available for this problem?
Thanks
What time zone are you in?
If you were in PST, then I would expect to see 8 hours difference.
CVS works in UTC internally (including it's CVS/ directory control files).
Assuming a Unix host try the following:
compare the output of
TZ=UTC ls -ltrh
to the data in the CVS/Entries file.
Hope this helps
