Follow-up Comment #2, bug #29199 (project cvs):
I'm using 1.12.13. I'd love to try 1.12.13.1, but I don't see a
tar file for it. Is there a tar file somewhere? Or is it just
a tag in the repository?
I'm currently fighting with our IT department (again) to try to
get the CVS port opened back up again so that I can once again
access the repository anonymously.
You might be right about the origin, I'll have to investigate
and get back to you.
Both #29199 (%n in writable segment detected) and #29232
(sanity.sh does not ignore cvsrc file) were part of my
frustrations of trying to run the test suite. There are other,
unreported, frustrations as well.
And I'm trying to run the test suite as part of sanity check
of a tentative partial fix for #29058 (checksum failure after
patch -- user's changes lost)...
And so it goes.
Take care,
David
