Subject: | DDD 3.2.1 (i586-pc-linux-gnu) gets `Segmentation fault' signal |
Date: | Mon, 13 Nov 2000 22:19:00 +0800 |
This error messages have occurred several
times:
I'm using DDD to trace gcc-2.8.1.
'cc1' is part of programs in gcc-2.8.1 and is loaded
into DDD.
In DDD, the program 'cc1' is used to compile a c file
into intermediate form and assembly code.
Several breakpoints were set to observe the behavior
of gcc-2.8.1.
While I was tracing 'cc1', some breakpoints in
"c-parse.y" were also set during the execution of DDD.
Breakpoints in c-parse.y couldn't be saved because
'c-parse.y' is not a static file and is
automatically generated by YACC parser for C
syntax and for Objective C.
'Segmentation fault' occurred while I were setting
the breakpoints in the 'c-parse.y'.
