Startup problems with DDD

From: Greg Jordan
Subject: Startup problems with DDD

Hallo,

I have a problem starting DDD. The details are as follows:

Hardware platform: Pentium-based PC
Operating system & version: LINUX 6.2

When I start DDD with the command "ddd&", the program starts, but
announces that it cannot communicate with 'gdb'. I get an error dialog
box announcing this, and when I acknowledge this DDD terminates. I have
attached all the relevant information.

Could you please have a look at the contents of the files I supplied and
give me an indication how I can correct the problem.

Thanks in advance,

Greg Jordan
