When forwarding a bug report upstream, it is advisable to include a link to
the original report (when available). Are you referring to
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37621 perhaps?

http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37621 shows an internal compiler
error being triggered. An internal compiler error, whether triggered by
valid or invalid code, is by definition a bug in the compiler (at the
minimum: not providing a proper diagnostic message). The proper upstream to
contact in this case is the gcc developers, not the DDD developers.

http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37621 mentions a "gcc (GCC) 3.2.3
20030422" which is rather old. It seems sensible to check whether the issue
persists with a more up to date gcc, say gcc 3.3.2 or gcc CVS
gcc-3_3-branch. If it does, report it to the gcc developers; see
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html for details.
