Hi,
Can anyone help with ddrescue?
I am newish to Linux and have after some difficulty succeeded in getting
the program installed and to run. Still have to get it to do work.
It comes with a fairly terse help file and tutorial but I am too
inexperienced with Linux to get the program to do work
What I want to do is like this.
Make an image of say hdd5 to sd1 as an image file and also to make a log
file so I can stop and resume from where I stopped.
I know that it is not difficult for a fairly experienced user but my
DOS/Win experience is little help in this.
I have made the output device read/write and even the input device
read/write but keep getting the message "unable to open input device."
Some sample command scripts would even help.
Any help welcomed.
