[Bug-ddrescue] problem with logfile

hi,

I'm using ddrescue for a defect 120gb hard disk and after 3 days I have now a
109GB image-file.

today I got an error-message, that there is not enough free space on the drive,
what's not really possible, because there are 40GB free.

after deleting some files on this volume, I restartet my mac and tried it
again, but now with an "sorry, there is an error in the logfile in line 1").

I checked the logfile, it looks completely different than a normal ddrescue
logfile, that's the actual beginning of the logfile:

H+!HFSJj√3È≠«¿d√3Õç+l

∞U:ñœO>™Gvˆ7¿7¿|Ωk|Ppkê`

P,ġ(ˇ&K¿'

ËCLUSTERED HOT FILES B-TREE

so I would like to ask if there is a way to repair a logfile or to create a new
one faster than recreating a new, empty logfile.

my setup:
imac with mac os x 10.5.8 and the latest version of ddrescue
120gb 2,5" sata hd

thx!

regards,

ferdinand
