[Bug-ddrescue] Rescued: 0 , what next?

Hi!

I tried to save some data from a broken HDD with ddrescue, but after 8
days it still says rescued: 0

What options are left?
Or better: where to look for them? The internet is full of of
different ideas, but very unorganized and partly hearsay.

Some rough information (from memory, I'll post more if required): WDC
WD2500BEVT disk, recognized, but all reads fail. smartctl shows about
10-20 bad sectors.
I took it out from an Asus 1011px netbook and attached it via an
USB3-SATA adapter to another PC. It behaves the same.
HDTune's Error Scan (under Windows) shows red for all sectors (and
finishes faster then regular reading would).
