OK, thanks for the update.  I brought up the issue because Richard
Kenner recently tried to build 1.4.2 and experienced various problems
including the streambuf one.

I'm glad to hear that that is no longer an issue and that you're
preparing a release.  Please, at that time could you send an announce
on the GCC list so that we can recommand an official DejaGnu version
GCC developers could use?
