Ok. Are you in contact with any libparted developers to ask them for
help regarding #504747?

I'm maintainer of the grml Linux Live-CD for sysadmins (check out
http://grml.org/) and I'm interested in shipping GNU fdisk with our
live-cds. In the past we suffered from the 'unable to open /dev/sda
- unrecognised disk label' problem. Would be great to see this issue
fixed. :)
