bug report: date display problem using ls |

Hello!
below here is a encode64'd and zipped version of my file
Numbers.bmp size: 3.954 bytes date: 9-oct-2099 14:03:42
The file is located in a fat 32 partition.
If I make a mount -t vfat on this partition, then a "ls -l" I get a:
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 3954 Sep 3 1963 Numbers.bmp*
where the year 1963 is definitively wrong. (Unix begins in 1970)
I suppose that the problem is in vfat's interpretation of the fat 32 file
system, rather than a bug in the programs ls itself.
However, this must be a bug somewhere in Linux, and that's why I report it to
you.
Cheers,
Joris
