Hello all,

Unfortunately Savannah bug 18466 (http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?18466)
is still not fixed in CVS. However, Eric has a patch which does fix
the problem, and the patch is attached to that bug. The current CVS
code for findutils 4.3.x includes a test for this bug (which therefore
currently fails, of course).

So if you want to build findutils 4.3.x from the CVS repository for
the moment, you may well want to do several things:-

1. Read REAME-CVS
2. Get an up-to-date version of gnulib from CVS (as mentioned in README-CVS)
3. Apply the gnulib patch I sent earlier today (this may soon not be
necessary, read that email for details)
4. Carry out the steps listed in README-CVS to generate the configure
script and Makefile.in
5. Build the code and run the test suite

Regards,
James.
