Details:

The file po/POTFILES.in needs to track all the source files containing
translatable strings.  A large number of the source files that get built
tinto findutils are part of gnulib, and get added freely by the gnulib
developers.  Therefore it would be useful to have a way of verifying that
there are no source files which have been accidentally missed out of
po/POTFILES.in.  Jim Meyering writes:-


There's a similar check in coreutils' Makefile.maint.
