I have a draft what-changed-in-4.4.0 document at
http://excession.spiral-arm.org/jay/gnu/findutils/NEWS-4.4.0.txt
I don't want to post it directly to the list since there might be
subsequent confusion if there is more than one what-changed
announcement findable in the mailing list archive. However, I would
be grateful if I could get some feedback on the document.
(Leslie: this is the announcement for the 4.4.0 stable release, but
the SoC changes will be folded in in 4.5.x, which is why we need a
stable release. This means that none of your changes are mentioned,
since ther're not present, yet).
Things I especially wanted feedback on are:
1. Clarity and organisation of the material
2. Comprehensiveness versus to-the-point-ness
Also there may be items in there listed as bugfixes which in fact
relate to bugs introduced in 4.3.x, and which therefore don't need to
be listed. I spotted a few, but there may be others in there.
Thanks,
James.
