findutils should work on recent versions of HP-UX and AIX.   If you
need to get it to work on an older version, you may also need to use a
findutils release of similar age.

findutils also works on all versions of Linux I've heard of (and it's
normally part of the base distribution).

findutils probably doesn't run on Windows, but it runs well in the
Cygwin environment in Windows.

But ESX is a hypervisor; in what sense are you asking your question?
