Actually I see that gachopin already uploaded this song under CC-BY,
this is new (end-2012) and this is good news :)

We can ask if this extends to the MIDI file, or we can use the MP3
file directly.

Nope. GNU FreeDink uses freely-licensed media, we couldn't use
something that is specific to FreeDink. This would hurt the project
philosophy and be blocked in GNU/Linux distros.
