Eli - we need a way to autogenerate the pc/config.h file from the
configh.in in the main directory.  If you can give a script of any
reasonable type (sh, sed, awk [ preferred, of course :-) ], python
or even [ shudder ] perl), I will use it to produce that file during
'make dist'.

Pat - Something similar would be helpful on the VMS side as well.
