[bug-gawk] Fluchsequenz

there seems to be a funny "bug" in GNU Awk 4.0.1 (Ubuntu 14.04 with german locale).

I get following warning message

awk: file.awk:11: Warnung: Das alte awk unterstützt die Fluchsequenz " \r" nicht

"Fluchsequenz" is obviously meant to be the translation of "escape sequence". In reality, it means "curse sequence" or "swearword sequence".

A literal translation of "escape sequence" would be "Fluchtsequenz", but this is not commonly used. I recommend "Escape-Sequenz" (see leo.org and http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape-Sequenz).
