[bug-gawk] Manual section of core extensions manpages

I'm mostly a Windows user, and not a Unix/Linux one. Apologies if what 
follows doesn't make sense.

The man pages of the core extensions (filefuncs, fnmatch, etc.) are 
declared as section "3am" ones. But hey get finally installed in a 
"man3" subdirectory.

Commands like

   man filefuncs
   man 3 filefuncs

succeed, but the command

   man 3am filefuncs

fails.

Is this the expected behavior?
