I wonder if it might be possible to incorporate
some way to set the number of errors gawk reports before it gives up and dies. I
ask because a single parse error can trigger a cascade of additional errors -
most of which are not only irrelevant but have the effect of scrolling the
actual triggering error off the screen. Then it becomes a game of "can I stop
the scroll fast enough to actually see the real error?"
Just a thought.
