For a change this large you'll need to sign paperwork if you haven't; I'll
contact you off-list about that, a little later.

The reason DJGPP is marked deprecated is that we don't have someone
who can run tests, fix bugs, and really take care of the port and
keep it healthy.

By chance are you willing to do that?  If so, you'll need to sign paperwork
and then we can get you more actively involved in the process.

We can discuss off-list what's involved in being a port maintainer
(there's some info in the gawk manual already, please take a look),
and you can think about it and let me know.
