Hi.

I am not associated with the GnuWin32 project. It's been my experience
in the past that their ports are not always wonderful. In any case, 3.1.6 is
quite old.

The recommended source for a Win32 port of gawk is Eli Zaretskii's
'ezwinports' project: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ezwinports/.
The latest version of gawk should be available there.  Eli is also one of
the active gawk developers.

As I mentioned earlier, 4.2.0 will be coming out soon. You may want to
wait for it. Otherwise, please use 4.1.4.
