I would like to take the opportunity to give you a big thank you for developing and maintaining gawk !!
I use it every day since 15 years, developing a gawk application for telecom networks operation which has now grown to 100,000 lines of gawk code .

I'm waiting for more bugs to come out of the woodwork. :-)  I hope to
do a 4.2.1 in late December or early Januaary, depending upon what else
is going on in my life.
