About the bug I reported here:

I downloaded the CVS sources today and if I add the patch
proposed here:
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/bug-gdb/2000-12/msg00073.html
my original bug is solved.
When using the current CVS revision (1.25) of src/gdb/symtab.c,
the bug remains.
