guys

i have found a bug in gdb.

i am using Win95 version 4.00.950 with 32 mb ram. i am
using mingw32 compiler
2.95.2 19991024 (release). my processor is Intel
Pentium II 350 mhz.

GDB version 4.18

this is what happened:

i fired up my gdb. and wanted to see what commands are
available. so i
typed "help running" at gdb prompt. gdb stopped after
a pageful of commands
prompting:

"---Type <return> to continue, or q <return> to
quit---"

i typed q at the prompt to go back to the prompt
immediately. but it caused
a "General Page Fault" saying "This program has
performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down". It is receiving
SIGSEGV signal. it's trying
to access invalid memory.

i was not doing anything special or wasn't my program
very complex. then
i tried the gdb without loading any programs to debug
it again crashed. this is definitely a bug. i have
tried restarting
the maching and trying again. but it still crashes.

following information windows gave me as it gives with
every GPF.
