I tried to install gdb-5.1 in solaris 8.



cd gdb
./configure
make


make: *** No rule to make target `../bfd/bfd.h', needed by `main.o'.  Stop.

Is this a bug?
Check through the file gdb-5.1/gdb/README. I'm not sure but I don't think you should be cd'ing to the ``gdb'' directory.
