2. Advantages To Redirect Pages!!

Redirect pages are pages you promote that take your 
traffic, or visitors to other locations. This is particularly
effective when you are redirecting to replicated webpages.

You should redirect to your replicated links rather then promote
those long URL's for a few reasons.

1. People sometimes try to strip your ID information.
2. You can track redirected pages if they reside on your site.
3. If you need to make changes it's a simple edit.
4. It usually makes for an easy to remember URL
5. Shorter URL's may be referenced verbally much easier.
6. You can use mulitple redirects to see which ad campaign is most effective.
7. Promotion campaigns can be redirected.

It is always better to control as much of your business as possible
and redirect pages is one way you can control ad campaigns, tracking, 
targeted traffic, and link strippers. Your promotional work will not 
go to waste even if you leave the business you're in, if you control the
redirect page. Redirect pages are excellent for ad campaigns because of 
the control you have and because they are so easy to build.

3. Create Your Own REDIRECT Page FREE!!

You realize of course that you can build any webpage 
with a simple text editor like NotePad on your windows system.
If you know HTML code well enough to just write the code, or
as in this case I am giving you the code, you must 
then save it as an "All Files Type" with the proper extension. 
An extension is the file type text after the . 

For example
dothis.exe

Here the extension is "exe"

Your redirect page should be saved with an "htm", or
"html" extension

For example
TheNameOfMyPage.html

What you should do first is open the program notepad.
Most windows systems will find the program in the accessories
folder. Click your start button and then programs, and accessories.
Notepad should be listed there, click it to open it. 

Now, highlight and copy the code below. Start with the <HTML> tag
and copy it by left clicking and dragging your mouse over it.
Let go of your mouse button and the text should remain highlighted.
Move your mouse into the highlighted area and Right click it. 
Now click copy. You have copied it to your imaginary clipboard.

Paste it into your open Notepad by clicking the cursor into the blank 
space inside notepad. Right click your mouse inside that same space and 
click paste. Now click "File", and then click "Save As" on the NotePad 
dialog box window. Be sure "All Files" is in the file type window near 
the bottom of the Notepad Dialog Box.

Save it off with any name you desire as long as you use
the proper extension, explained above, and be sure to take notice
as to where you save it so you may retrieve it for uploading.

Once you have saved the code you may use it again and again by
replacing the URL line with the redirect URL you wish your visitors
to be directed to, changing the title line, and uploading it to your 
WebServer. Now you may promote the page link you just created and control
this advertising campaign yourself.
