Gdb and Fortran Modules

Hello people:

I have the following problem. 
The gdb version that comes with Fedora Core 3 (6.1post-1.20040607.43rh)
cannot find subroutines defined inside Fortran Modules. Other debuggers
can, for instance idb. ce idb.
So my questions are:
- Does anybody use gdb with Fortran and Fortran modules? If yes, with
which version of gdb?
- Any experience with this?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
